This System is recommended for table top use where additonal light is available. 40" tall by 27" wide by 12" deep.

Unit has two 27" light fixtures with 2-40 watt wide spectrum bulbs in each fixture.

Lights are mounted in professional grade fixtures. Proiper spacing transfers maximum energy to plants. Extremely efficient!

Light fixtures are mounted on a unique slide system. Move lights up or down by adjusting control knob at end of fixture.		 LST222-04.gif
Each shelf holds one 22" x 11" x 2.5" deep watertight tray.

Grower Trays
Two Options for Growing
The shelves in our Light Systems (except the Deluxe Floor Model) are built using Heavy Duty Grower Trays. You have two options for growing with these trays and our Hydroponic System. 

1. Hydro-Planters in Grower Trays

2.  Culture Pots in Grower Trays

Option #1 uses the complete Hydro Planter (outer pot, inner pot, and indicator) for each orchid. Features of this approach are:
  1. Watering each plant indiviually allows for varying water levels in same tray.
  2. Trays stay clean - no algae or calcium build up
  3. Plants look better with outer pots
 ith Option #2 orchids are positioned directly in tray without outer pots or indicators. Features with this approach are:
  1. Larger resivour means longer intervals between waterings.
  2. Addional humidity from water standing in tray
  3. No outer pots or indicators needed - saves $$.
